The Central Finance Co. Ltd. and its related companies have divested their holdings in V. Capital Limited (previously known as CF Venture Fund Ltd), a company quoted on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), to a strategic investor incorporated in Malaysia.

The buyer MFB DATA BHD (MFB) is a subsidiary of PointXnet Ltd, another IT company incorporated in the UK that had been in operation for over 10 years.

Central Finance had been looking for strategic investor to come into V. Capital for some time.

Ceylinco Stockbrokers has informed the CSE that a Malaysian company had purchased nearly 4 million shares of CF Venture Fund Limited (now V. Capital), amounting to 26.47% of the issued capital.
