Bank to establish a strong presence in Bangladesh.

Agricole Indosuez in 2003 we said that it was only a beginning.
Since then we have upgraded the facilities for customers as well
as the staff. We introduced the latest banking technology
relying entirely on Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi expertise," he
He assured that Commercial Bank would continue
to offer the same high standards of ethics and good governance
it is reputed for and thereby contribute to the integrity of the
private banking sector of Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner in Bangladesh
Gamini Munasinghe said that he was extremely happy to see the
rapid progress made by Commercial Bank subsequent to their entry
to Bangladesh through the acquisition of the French Bank Credit
Agricole Indosuez. "I am confident that Commercial Bank would
contribute positively towards developing much stronger business
ties between the two countries and also contribute to the
overall banking sector of Bangladesh through its superior brand
of banking," he said.

addressing the gathering said that BEPZA welcomed the
opportunity of working together with Commercial Bank to serve
the investors and the people of Dhanmondi. He also said that he
was confident that investors would find the services offered by
Commercial Bank extremely useful.
