A father of three was shot dead by unidentified
persons close to Pinwatta Suddharmarama Pirivena in Panadura
police division.
The deceased has been identified as Kolomba
Hewage Kithsiri Silva (47) of Pinwatta.
Panadura Acting Magistrate, W. D. Karunatilleke,
visited the scene along with Panadura SP Upendra Dharmasena and
held the magisterial inquiry and ordered the Panadura police to
take the suspects into custody.
Panadura Crime OIC Inspector H. A. S. Abeykoon
with the Pinwatta police post OIC Sub Inspector Dilusha Mores
are conducting investigations on the instruction of Panadura SP,
Upendre Dharmasena.
