From what I have read so far in both English and Sinhala print media, I’d rather die than watch ‘Aksharaya’ with/without my children or with/without my husband.

As against this, I watch ‘Senehase Geethaya’ telecast on Swarnavahini with my whole family, domestic staff, chauffeurs and immediate neighbours. They all stop their activities to flock around the TV at 7.30 p.m. on weekdays for this excellent entertainment.

Hats off to the Director/Producer of ‘Senehase Geethaya’, Swarnavahini`A0and the Minister of Cultural Affairs for doing their duty by the nation.

We do not need nudity or any other form of "cheap" dramatization for the general public to enjoy a movie etc., if its substance is appealing`A0 as amply demonstrated by the Director of ‘Senehase Geethaya’.

I hope, in future, directors/ producers will not be`A0lured/bought by ‘foreign forces’.
