The development of the Mega Havelock City Project, a joint venture between Shing Kwan Group of Singapore and the Bank of Ceylon was launched in August last year. The project involves the development of "a City within a City" comprising housing, leisure, commercial and entertainment segments.

The work on the housing component is currently underway and the piling works for the construction of 225 housing units in Phase I of the project has been completed.

The work on the construction of the superstructure is proceeding with Shanghai Construction Group of China, a renowned building contractor who has successfully completed many large development projects.

The commencement of the construction of the superstructure was slightly delayed due to certain unforeseen difficulties experienced locally. Mireka Capital Land (Pvt) Ltd. the developer is happy to announce that the project is now on track.
