The crater left by the LTTE mine that killed seven persons, including award winning novelist Nihal de Silva at the Wilpattu National Sanctuary on Sunday (27). Strewn about are parts of the vehicle which carried the wild life enthusiasts who had gone out early in the morning to watch leopards at a lake in the sanctuary.
