Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs Dr. Sarath Amunugama will lead a high ranking delegation to the annual conference of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in Singapore.

Other members of the delegation to the conference which opens today are, Deputy Finance Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, Treasury Secretary Dr. P. B. Jayasundera, Director General of External Resources Ms. Sujatha Cooray, Treasury Deputy Secretary General R. A. Jayatissa and Governor Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal

Dr. Amunugama told The Island that problems and difficulties faced by the developing countries and the cooperation expected from developed countries would be discussed at the conference.

The conference ends on September 21.
