Hameedia launches ‘Dress to Win’ promo
Sri Lanka’s leading men’s wear specialist Hameedia has just launched its popular Dress to Win promotion for the third consecutive year with an enhanced and attractive array of prizes including ten complete wardrobes of casual, daily and formal wear valued at Rs.100,000/- each, ten return air tickets to Bangkok, courtesy Cathay Pacific, ten Polaroid glasses, courtesy Baurs, ten pairs of Adidas shoes and ten free two-year subscriptions to the Man’s Mission Magazine.

Operative from 10th October to 31st December, 2006, the ‘Dress to Win’ promotion consists of a raffle draw for customers who purchase clothes worth more than Rs. 5000/- at a single time from Hameedias (and its franchised) branches strategically located across Sri Lanka. 50 lucky winners will be chosen early next year from the thousands of entries islandwide.

Managing Director of Hameedia Fouzul Hameed said that with the fast approaching Ramadan, Deepavali, Christmas and New Year festive season, the ‘Dress to Win’ promotion gave customers the great opportunity to win rewards while shopping. We encourage our customers to shop for real value by offering them the world’s leading brands as part of our philosophy Real Men Wear Real Clothes. In fact, this year’s advertising campaign conceptualises the success of the ‘Dress to Win’ promotion, where all our shelves have literally been bought out, including the clothes on the mannequins themselves, he added.

A name synonymous with high quality men’s wear, Hameedia has achieved phenomenal growth since its inception in 1949. It enjoys a large loyalty base in Sri Lanka, together with a growing and discerning clientele in its new overseas markets in India. The company has enriched its portfolio by forging successful business partnerships with the world’s leading brands such as Van Heusen, Raymond, Louis Philippe, Lee, Arrow and Adidas. It now has 14 fully equipped Hameedia showrooms across Sri Lanka and ‘The Envoy’ showrooms in India and the UK, while also being voted Sri Lanka’s first Men’s wear ‘Super Brand’ status.

We have gained a reputation as being an indefatigable crusader against counterfeits and fakes, and pride ourselves in selling only original men’s wear. This is probably one of the key corner stones of our success, Hameed added.
