Tourism Malaysia has tied up with SriLankan Airlines in an
effort to expand its scope of operations in Sri Lanka.
Tourism Malaysia’s International Promotions Manager Chandra
Sehgaran told The Island that they are working closely with
SriLankan Airlines in promoting Malaysia as a destination. `A0
"We want to expand the scope of cooperation by increasing our
presence in Sri Lanka bearing in mind that Sri Lankan nationals
can now obtain visas on arrival at the `A0 Kuala Lumpur`A0
Penang, Senai, Johor, Kuching, Kota and Kinabalu International
airports and the second link connecting Johor and Singapore"
Sehgaran, said that visas would be granted on production of a
confirmed return air ticket, fee of RM 100, duration of stay not
exceeding one month and purpose being purely for
leisure/tourism.
Passengers, he said will also be required to have proof of
financial capabilities such as credit cards or up to US$50 per
day.
