securing prestigious Oeko-Tex Standard as the first-ever Lankan
owned accessory manufacturer/supplier hi Hongkong. In an
impressive achievement, Sritrims Far East HK Limited, has
emerged as the first-ever Sri Lankan owned accessory
manufacturer and suppliers hi Hongkong to secure the prestigious
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 marking from the Institute of the
International Association for Research and Testing in the field
of Textile Ecology in Zurich.
Most of the top global garment buyers, importers
and designers insist on the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard because this
certification comprehensively addresses the Human Ecology
component of textile products. It also evaluates and screens for
any harmful substances present within processed textiles
intended to come into contact with consumers.
