Mahinda to present budget on Nov. 16 |
|
The 2007 budget to be presented by
President Mahinda Rajapakse on November 16, will be relief and
development oriented, Media Minister Anura Priyadharshana Yapa,
said yesterday. "The President informed the cabinet of
ministers that he would be presenting the 2007 Appropriation
Bill to parliament on November 16 and not November 14, as
earlier scheduled."
Yapa said that the second reading of the Bill, will take
place on November 22 and third reading on December 6.
