Inform authorities about non reduction of
prices – Yapa |

People can inform the
relevant authorities about the failure of businessmen to bring
down the prices of goods in accordance with the reduction in oil
prices, Government spokesman and Media Minister Anura
Priyadharshana Yapa said yesterday.
He, was responding to a query at the cabinet press briefing
about prices of goods and services remaining static or in some
cases being increased despite the recent reduction in oil
prices.
"People can always take their complaints to the Fair Trading
Commission, which will provide redress after inquiring into the
matter", he said. (ZJ)
