Mobile offices of the
Department of Registrations of Citizens will cover all districts
to issueNational Identity Cards before December 31 to all
citizens, who are eligible to vote but have not obtained their
NICs.
From Monday, November 6 to Saturday 11 this programme will be
conducted covering 20 Divisional Secretariats in the Kandy
district. All who intend applying for their NICs are requested
to obtain the necessary forms from the Grama Niladaris and
submit the completed forms in time for the mobile office.
Applicants who have problems are advised to seek help from
the mobile offices.
On Monday, the mobile offices will be conducted at the Minipe,
Ududumbara, Karaliyadda and Panvila Divisional Secretariats.
On Tuesday, at Harispattuwa, Pujapitiya, Pahathadumbara and
Akurana.
On Wednesday, at Gampola, Doluwa, Ganga Ihala Korale and
Pasbage Korale.
On Thursday, at Galagedera, Hataraliyadda, Patha Hewaheta and
Deltota.
On Friday, Kundasale, Gagawata Korale, Yatinuwara and
Udunuwara.
