SriLankan ties up with B.O.C.
Travels
SriLankan Airlines has entered into a
partnership with B.O.C. Travels (Pvt) Ltd, which will serve as
the National Carrier’s Passenger Sales Agent in Ratnapura and
manage the Ticket Office there.
True to its philosophy of taking service to the
doorstep of the customer, the National Carrier has ticket
offices islandwide in Colombo, the Bandaranaike International
Airport, Kandy, Galle, Dambulla, Kurunegala, Badulla, Ratnapura,
Jaffna, Vavuniya, Seeduwa, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, and Matara.
Manoj Gunawardena, Head of Worldwide Passenger
Sales at SriLankan, said: "Taking business to the customer is
what we always aim to do at SriLankan, Our ticket offices,
therefore, are located islandwide so that the customer does not
have to travel a great distance to access our services. The new
office in Ratnapura is fully equipped to attend to all of a
customer’s travel requirements, whether it is a simple inquiry
about a fare, a booking, reconfirmation, or any type of special
request".
The new office in Ratnapura, located in the Bank
of Ceylon Building on Dharmapala Mawatha, was declared open on
1st December. The new office was opened by (Ms R G V S
Gunatilleka, Assistant General Manager Bank of Ceylon
Sabaragamuwa Province and Manoj Gunawardena, Head of Worldwide
Passenger Sales at SriLankan Airlines in the presence of Ms
Malani Premeratne District Secretary Ratnapura and Neville
Wijesinghe Deputy Inspector General of Police Ratnapura and a
distinguish gathering of the Corporate sector in the
Sabaragamuwa District.
