Seven people, including a Buddhist monk, a child, men and women, were critically injured when the van they were travelling in skidded off the road and hit a tree at Rillabada in Boosa at dawn yesterday (25). All seven were admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital and hospital sources described their condition as serious.
