President’s College, Rajagiriya, cruised to an
easy innings and nine run victory over Lumbini College as leg
spinner Soniyer Perera completed a match bag of 11 wickets to
hold their opponents to 147 runs in the second innings in their
Inter School First XI match which ended at Mahara Prison Grounds
on Tuesday.

St. John’s College, Nugegoda, came up with a
fine all-round performance to record their first outright
victory of the season, as they stunned Carey College by
bettering their first innings performance to score an eight
wickets victory in their match ended at Railway Grounds on
Tuesday.
While Rashen Amanda bagged eight wickets, a fine
61 from Mayura Ranasinghe in the first innings and an unbeaten
71 runs by Shehan David stood in good stead for St. John’s.
