St. Peter’s College and Wesley College advanced
to the final of the Inter School Under-13 Division I Cricket
Tournament, as their bowlers restricted their counterparts to
low scores in the two day semi-final matches ended on Tuesday.
Nawalage and Mendis guide Petes
In reply to St. Peter’s 214 runs, Dharmasoka
were bowled out for 90 runs as leg spinner Tharindu Mendis and
off spinner Pavithra Nawalage shared seven wickets between them
in their semi final at Tissa Central Grounds, Kalutara on
Tuesday.

in Wesley win
After Tharindu Kariyawasam and Basith Muzammil
shared six wickets between them to restrict Maliyadeva College
to 76 runs, a painstaking 77 runs in 145 balls from Migara
Wickramasinghe helped Wesley College post 204 runs to record a
first innings their two day semi-final at MCA Grounds, on
Tuesday.
In their second innings. Maliyadeva were 176 for
9 at close with Rasanjana Jayaratne top scoring with 86.
