Highways Minister and Chief Government Whip,
Jeyaraj Fernadopulle has been appointed acting Foreign Minister
by the President according to a communiqu from the Presidential
Secretariat yesterday.
But Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama who
left for Pakistan for bilateral talks with President Pervez
Musharaff on January 30, is due today.
Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Bhaila who is on
a visit to Middle East foreign missions on a routine inspection
