Malabe's partngr
school moved to new building

South Bromsgrove High School in Worcestershire which is the
partner school of Malabe Boys’ Model School in Western Province
moved to a new state of the art building last month.
The Prince Edward opened this school and the Head Teacher at
Malabe Boys’ School H. Ratnapala was among the participants at
this event. The school have been linked for two years and the
Head of the English Department at the Sri Lankan school, Kushini
Dabarera also visited the school where she helped its students
to learn about the Sri Lankan culture.
During the visit Ratnapala was involved in a study of food
technology, business studies, English languages, religious
studies and citizenship lessons. He also gave presentations to
students who have e- pals in his school and are involved in
other curriculam projects with Malabe Boys’ School.
He also visited Finstall First School and The City of
Birmingham University two of the establishments that have links
with Malabe School accompanying the Chairman of Governors Colin
Hill.
