Congrats, Ranil!

It was quite a pleasant sight to see-that Ranil
had at last after all these years in politics, found his true
vocation on Thurs. 14 of Feb. on and around the boundary and
garden walls in Maradana. Congratulation on your discovery of
your new talent! With so many TV cameras at his command, pasting
posters was indeed a salutary career change given the bleak
prospects for him in politics for years to come! Given the
attendant instant publicity he could easily contract out his
services to other political parties, (the JVP, I expect, would
not baulk at engaging his services given the sheer publicity
attached), the tuition industry and even commercial companies..
This lucrative career change would surely give the UNP the
opportunity to restructure and re-orient itself away from CFA
politics of appeasement and Royal
college-amateurish-politics-of-close-college-friends.
Besides the West worshipping, global oriented
politics, poster pasting has the potential of creating a world
record of sorts, and bestow on Ranil the dubious distinction as
the most infamous politician to pollute the environment.
Well Champika, you have a challenge on your
hands. Have you any plans to rescue Sri Lanka from the
degradation of environment by the poster pollution so publicly
committed by Ranil? Will you deal with him?
We expectantly await the outcome.
