Edirisinghe ( O.T.A.B. (Canada) GDIP (UK) M.B.A (USA).
Chef Edirisinghe is a professional with
experience in three continents, and welt versed in Culinary Food
Production and having specialized, in Canada and Sri Lanka.
His training began at the Claremont Hotel
School, adding a Master of Business Administration - Catering
Management at the European Continental University. Welt versed
in HACCP, and having participated in Train the Trainer Program
conducted by the Cooperate Delta Hotels in Ontario, Canada.
White in Germany, Chef Sunil mastered the fine art of Authentic
Bavarian Cuisine, and following this he completed a Food Et
Beverage Management Techniques at the Faculty of Hospitality
Studies in the United Kingdom.
Chef Sunil Edirisinghe has acquired a vast
experience and complemented with extensive hospitality and
travel experiences, being an Award Winner and is known to employ
creative food pairings and interesting ingredients to inspire
taste buds both here and abroad.
He has worked as an Executive Chef at the Island
Hideaway in Maldives, the At Mutlaq Hotel in Riyadh, the Royal
Empire Hotel also in Dubai, and has had extensive working
experience as a Sous Chef at the City Centre Hotel in Dubai,
which is owned by Sofitel, and both the Delta Meadowvale Resort
Et Conference Centre Et the Movenpick Restaurant in Ontario,
Canada.
During the past few years, Chef Sunil has
special achievements to his credit, having become the Best
Regional Chef at the Culinary Art Competition in Colombo,, and
having demonstrations in the Techniques and Creation of "
Cuisine Naturalle" with world reknowed Chef Anton Mosimann at
the Hostex Exhibition in Ontario, Canada.
He has also been involved in various special functions, as a
Member of the Culinary Art Judging Committee, conducting several
cooking demonstrations on Rupahavini and ITN to name a few,
while also serving as an Executive Committee Member of the
Chef’s Guild of Sri Lanka.
