A violent clash between two student factions at the Kelaniya University left two students injured. One of them was hospitalized. A spokesman for the Students’ Council said a group of students had been assaulted near the main gate while they were returning the campus.

The Police confirmed that a clash had occurred and two were injured. But no complaint had been made, they said.
