Business & Social Etiquette

The word ‘etiquette’ has evolved, but in many ways it still means that you should remain within the flexible boundaries of civil behaviour while allowing relationships to grow. It lets us present ourselves with confidence and authority in all areas of our professional and personal life.

The Association for International Standards (AIS), affiliated to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, continuing its efforts to introduce best practices, will host a Seminar on "Business & Social Etiquette" conducted by Ms. Dila Hettiarachchy.

Ms. Hettiaratchy, is a well known personality for conducting training sessions for the corporate sector on Business Etiquette, Customer Service, Personal Development for Secretaries, Telephone Operators & front line staff, Presentation Skills & Interview Skills & Business English.

Targeted at Senior Managers, Financial Advisors, Administration Officers, Investment Brokers, Marketing Managers, Executives, Front Office Staff, Customer Care Executives, Sales Staff and Students, the programme covers Professional Presence (The importance of creating a winning image), Social Etiquette (To be comfortable when facing numerous issues when you interact socially), and Dinning Etiquette- (Sit through a 5 course ‘monitored dining session’ where you ‘learn’ as you eat).

"Business & Social Etiquette" will take place on 28th March, 2008 at Salon Anthurium, Hotel Galadari, from 9 am to 1 pm. Please contact Suba (AIS secretariat) at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce for registration and further details.
