Mihin lanka flies in tourists from Iran Teaming up with Sri Lanka’s own low cost airline ‘Mihin Lanka’, ATA 2000 Travel Agency & Tourism of Teheran – Iran, will bring in over 1200 Tourists from Iran to Sri Lanka. The first batch of 600 tourists arrived on special flights from Teheran to Colombo, arranged by Mihin Lanka on 19, 20 & 21st March. Initially Mihin Lanka has planned to operate total of 9 flights that will bring in tourists from Iran. This is expected to give a boost to the Tourism Industry of Sri Lanka. These special low cost flights by – Mihin Lanka – came about after his Excellency the Pesident Mahinda Rajapaksa invited the Nationals of Iran during his official visit to Iran to visit the ‘The Pearl of the Indian Ocean’ "Sri Lanka". |
