One person was injured when a luxury bus plying from Colombo to Matara veered off the road onto a wall near the Boosa Petrol Shed in Galle Road yesterday morning.

The injured, identified as M. Rasika (30), was the conductor of the bus. There were eight passengers in the bus when the accident occurred but none of them were injured.

The injured was a resident of Matara Walgama area. He had been admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.
