The April festive season Horse Race Meets are conducted by the Sri Lanka Turf Club at the Nuwara Eliya Race Course.
The third and final race day for the April festive season will be held on Friday 18 April, commencing at 10.00 a.m.
There will be 7 Thoroughbred horse races on that day. The main events of the day will be "Nestle’s Mayor’s Club" sponsored by Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd.
The following races will also be held on that day - "Grand Hotel Cup" sponsored by Grand Hotel, Nuwara Eliya, "The Bahiya Cup" sponsored by the late I. A. Cader’s sons, "Mackwoods Labookellie Cup", sponsored by Mackwoods Plantations (Pvt) Ltd, "Sumathi Cup" sponsored by U. W. Sumathipala and Sons and "Sporting Times Cup" sponsored by E. W. Balasuriya.
