Indonesia-1 team won the men’s title while the women’s segment victory went to Thailand-2 team at the 9th Samila Asian Beach Volleyball Championship that ended in Songkla, Thailand.

Sri Lanka’s No.1 team at this event, Dhammika Silva and Pubudu Ekanayake, earned 9th spot amongst 26 teams this year. Thakshila Neranjalie and W.W. Sujeewa, the Lankan women’s team, finished in 15th place in their segment.
