The Galle Agrarian Insurance Board Chairman Mervin Gunaratne said the highest number of farmer pensioners could be found in the Galle district. According to him there were 931,251 farmers who had become recipients of pension. Gunaratne said arrangements would be made to involve another batch of about 10,000 farmers in this scheme.
