A top provincial Lands Reforms official said about 85 per cent of land belonging to the Land Reform Commission in the Galle district had been taken over by unauthorized people. Some of them had sold government land to others but no action had been taken against them, the official said. Government land at Akmmemana, Baddegama and Neluwa areas had been taken over, he said.
