Dr. Jayalath Jayawardana, Senior Parliamentarian of the
Gampaha District, has launched a special scheme to provide Rs. 100,000/-
as funeral expenses.
This payment will be made within 72 hours of the death of
a person in the Gampaha district. Any Non-Governmental Organizations in
the Gampaha district, such as Welfare Societies, Youth Clubs and Women's
Clubs can come forward to implement this special scheme, his office said.
