I visited the Prison Hospital, and spoke to Sepala. He said that he is somewhat weak. I met the Medical Officer. I told him that we should compulsorily feed him at 5.30 p.m., if Sepala refused to take his meals. There is provision for the Medical Officer to give intravenous injections, after the prisoner is restrained in a straight Jacket. I gave necessary instructions to Jailor Chandradasa as well, I returned to Welikada prisons and sent the following items to the Jailor: A straight Jacket,A Body Belt with wrist cuffs, ankle straps, wires, spanner and a few other items used by the electrician. The jailor placed these items on a table by the bed.
