Wellawatte police said an unidentified person had seized the official vehicle of Irrigation Minister of non-cabinet rank Jayatissa after threatening his driver. A senior police official said the driver had dropped the minister’s children at a tuition class in the Wellawatte police area and was waiting for them to come back when the incident took place. Police subsequently found the vehicle in the Peliyagoda police area. (NP
