Executive Chef Udo Schoen takes over kitchens of Trans Asia Hotel

Germany – the birth land of many famous chefs also brought to this part of the world the fondly known Chef Udo who recently joined the Trans Asia Hotel as their Executive Chef. He says he has only one mission to fulfill – and that is to satisfy the taste buds of all who patronize the hotel for whatever the occasion. Chef Udo has an interesting past which is the reason for his amazing culinary skills he himself is so proud of and why he is acclaimed as legendary! In 1972 as an apprentice in a fine dining restaurant in Düsseldorf, Germany his career began. After three years in training, he went to Switzerland, then on a short stint to the Channel Islands and back to Switzerland to St.Muritz a skier’s paradise where he worked through the winter season spanning six months!
