Baddegama Magistrate Manusha Wijeweera imposed fines of Rs. 2,500 each on two persons, who were produced before Court on Tuesday (24), for selling underweight bread.
One suspect, a bakery owner, had supplied bread weighing only 318 grams, while the other was a trader who had sold the underweight bread.
Public Health Inspectors of Baddegama conducted the raid on the bakery and shop that sold the underweight bread.
