Driving along the new Colombo-Kandy Road, my attention was drawn to a newly painted 4x2 hoarding which announced a 'Cut Pees' for sale. Though the word PEE is in the Oxford Dictionary, I failed to conjure up what CUT PEES would imply. We know that to pee in public is unbecoming, though our countrymen are found wanting in this field. So, how come 'Cut Pees.' The more I think of it, the more my mind boggles.
