It is sad if any "strong mental pressure" was created on two youngsters by ‘The Island’ news report of June 25 with the headline ‘Vicious hand deprives Sumana BMV U-13 title’ as it was revealed in a letter we’ve received from two parents of some team members of the Sumana tennis team.

Our report, though, was based on the facts revealed by the PTI of Sumana BMV. That was clearly mentioned in that report. But our effort to contact the other party concerned, as was revealed, failed unfortunately on June 24.

It could be stressed that before complaining to any institution with regard to any "mental pressure," you can better sort out matters within the school of your kids. Accusations can only be made against us, we believe, if we have violated any basic journalistic norms.
