UNP National Organizer S. B. Dissanayake yesterday said
that just as much as there are many ways to heaven, "there are also many
alternatives to get back my civic rights".
"My solemn intention is to do so".
Speaking on the phone amidst addressing a series of
rallies in support of UNP’s CM candidature of Ranjan Ramanayake in
Ratnapura, he said that he did not wish to mince words nor disclose the
alternate strategies at hand as the UNP’s Political Affairs Committee
chaired by Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe was to meet with MP K. N. Choksy
this week to ascertain his views in this connection.
