A newly minted special coin to mark Sri Lanka’s historic achievement as runners up in the 2007 Cricket World Cup was handed over to President Mahinda Rajapaksa by Currency Superintendent of the Central Bank, C. P. A. Karunatilake in Kandy yesterday. Looking on are Governor of the Central Bank, Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Deputy Governor Rani Jayamaha, Assistant Governor Chandra Premaratne.
