Any change of leadership in a party should be for the future of the party, on a long-term basis. Several lakhs of voters have shown their confidence in the present leader as well as with the party, which needs utmost consideration by persons who seek change.
Members from one party crossing over to another were fuelled with ulterior motives. They cannot face the voters of their former party or voters of the ruling group.
There appears to be many lessons we voters have to learn for the JVP voters who have rejected many of their former representatives at the last elections. Most voters are more educated today when compared with voters many years ago. They will vote in accordance with their conscience. They have matured now.
