Jets yesterday morning bombed an LTTE training facility located about three kilometres west of Mankulam. SLAF spokesman Group Captain Janaka Nanayakkara said that jets launched from the Katunayake air base had zeroed-in on the training base at 10. 20 a.m.

Helicopter gunships swooped down on a Sea Tiger facility at Kavitharamunei, Pooneryn Saturday morning. Mi-24 helicopters hit the target at 4. 15 a. m., SLAF spokesman Group Captain Janaka Nanayakkara told ‘The Island’.
