Ananda and St. Joseph’s advance to quarter-finals
Ananda College, Colombo and St. Joseph’s College, Darley Road advanced to the quarter-finals of the Inter-School Elephant Lemonade Trophy Under-17 tournament as they beat their opponents in the pre-quarter final matches played yesterday.

St. Josephs ‘College went pass the 200 run mark for the first time in the tournament(249 for 6) as they recorded an 85 run victory over D.S. Senanayake College in their pre-quarter final match played at Darley Road yesterday.

Ananda too strong for Kegalu

Ananda College registered an 81 run win over Kegalu Vidyalaya as Sachin Udara (57) and Madumal Jayaratne (54) scored half-centuries in their pre- quarter final match played at Ananda Mawahtha yesterday. Jayaratne scored an unbeaten 54 in just 23 balls and scored five sixes.
