

Hilton
had their birthday bash in style. The novelty of it was there was 21
different cuisines with 24 teams of chefs A 21 metre long sandwich,
believe it or not was prepared by a team of 12 chefs under the auspices of
the Hilton Colombo’s Executive Chef Rohan Fernandopulle.
Fillings: Tuna fish, egg and mayonnaise, cheese and tomato and a choice of cold cuts.
A specially designed stunning 21 metre long bar was designed for the Big 21 at the Hilton. Three types of cocktails and one mocktail was on offer.
A colossal 21 metre ice sculpture was on display, shaped in the form of candles, they lit up and the sculptures lasted throughout the night. Each ice carved giant birthday candle varying in size, was placed on a carriage carved out of ice and hoisted upon a ramp across the length of the hotel’s pool.
