Police in the Western
Province have requested all people from East, now residing in the Western
Province, to register themselves at Police stations in their areas on
Sunday, October 5, Sunday between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.All easterners
who live in the Negombo, Gampaha, Kelaniya, Colombo North, Colombo
Central, Colombo South, Nugegoda, Mount Lavinia, Panadura and Kalutara
Police Divisions have been asked to go to the Police stations in their
area of residence along with all occupants in the house and national
Identity Cards and other documents and get themselves registered.
A similar registration was carried out on September 21 for all those
who arrived from the North and now resident in the Western Province.
