Playing out innocent people has been going on for generations. But the amount of money thus defrauded has greatly increased.

There was a similar event in 1986, if I remember right in Kandy, where a motor spare parts dealer was involved, and up to now, those who had invested money, have not been compensated. Many had sold properties and invested due to the promised high rates of interest. \

Early remedial action is the need of the hour. We have been taken for a good ride.
