


Acting Attorney General Priyasarth Dep, PC, yesterday
told the Supreme Court that President Mahinda Rajapaksa will very soon
hold a discussion with the Prime Minister and the Leader of the
Opposition to resolve the matter concerning the appointment of members
to the Constitutional Council.
He told the Court that Attorney General had been so informed by the
Presidential Secretariat.
The Attorney General and the Counsel for the Leader of the Opposition
Shibly Aziz PC, told the Court that the Prime Minister Mr. Ratnasiri
Wickramanayake and the Leader of the Opposition Mr. Ranil
