The Government Medical Officers Association has warned that unless a solution is found to the administrative lapses in the Anuradhapura Hospital by Monday, October 20, doctors of the Hospital would resort to trade union action.

According to Dr. Upul Gunasekera of the GMOA the problem was created by the appointment of an Acting Director with whom other doctors and staff find it difficult to work.
