The Sri Lanka Government supplies food, and other essentials to the areas under Tigers; provides medical assistance to the displaced

families living in temporary shelters and those still living in the war zone.

After the Tsunami, the Tigers collected millions of dollars from the international community, as well as from the Tamil Diaspora. We Sri Lankan Tamils do not know what the Tigers have done with the money poured into their coffers to alleviate Tamils’ misery.

Rajiv Gandhi sent the Indian Army to safeguard Sri Lankan Tamils. Tigers challenged the Indian Army and over one thousand Indian military personnel were killed and in the end Tigers plotted against Rajiv Gandhi, sent in a suicide squad and Rajiv Gandhi was blown to pieces on Indian soil.

The Tigers have carried out more suicide bombings than Hamas, Islamic

Jihad and Al Qaeda combined. In the last thirty years, the Tigers killed more Tamils than anyone else. Also more Tigers were killed by Pirabhakaran than any body else. India should not help the Tigers escape the Sri Lankan military. If the Sri Lankan Tamils are to get equal rights along with the Sri Lankan Sinhalese and need a federal set up, then the Tigers have to be totally silenced.

India should not interfere in this situation. Indians do not want Pakistan to interfere in Kashmir. Therefore Indians cannot have one rule for India and another rule for Sri Lanka. It is the sovereign right of Sri Lanka to eliminate the Tigers who produced two generations of suicide bombers, recruited thousands of Tamil child soldiers and posed a fundamental threat to Sri Lanka’s survival as a nation.
