CleanCo Drives Green with State-Of-The-Art ICT from Dialog Enterprise

CleanCo Lanka’s drivegreen programme recently connected to a superior total voice and data communications solution provided by Dialog Enterprise. The solution facilitates inter-branch connectivity between CleanCo’s island wide fixed and mobile vehicle emission testing centres, enhancing service delivery.

Dialog Enterprise, an integrated business division of Dialog Telekom PLC, has installed its connectivity solutions at 16 CleanCo testing stations, deploying an IP VPN (Internet Protocol - Virtual Private Network) based on MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) technology. This enables users to access corporate and customer information over a secure private communication network. In addition, Dialog7 Fixed Voice Solutions have been provided with unlimited communication facilities between the head office and fixed and mobile testing stations, whilst 10 mobile testing units can receive data connectivity through a GPRS/3G/HSPA solution from Dialog GSM.

CleanCo’s need to connect its fixed and mobile testing centres was an ideal challenge for Dialog Enterprise to demonstrate its capability to deliver fixed mobile integrated connectivity solutions for Sri Lankan enterprises.

Mr. Kavan Ratnayaka, CEO Dialog Fixed Telephony & Broadband Services said, "It is important that we cater to the changing demands of customers. We firmly believe our advanced technology resource enables us to meet this demand. We are glad to partner CleanCo on this project, and hope our ICT solutions will deliver value results to CleanCo and its customers".

Besides boosting CleanCo’s communication facilities, the solution will reduce costly infrastructure expenditure through the implementation of next generation network infrastructure for a total voice, video, data and broadband internet package.

Mr. Joel Peter, General Manager, CleanCo Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. commented, "We are glad to have selected Dialog Enterprise as our technology partner for the drivegreen vehicle emission project. Dialog’s ICT solutions will definitely enhance our information communication infrastructure facilities and contribute towards achieving our corporate objectives."

The vehicle emission testing programme is an initiative of the Environment and Natural Resources Ministry together with the Ministry Of Transport to curb vehicle air pollution.
