Taking time off from the exacting task of dispatching consignments to worldwide destinations, Sri Lanka’s Cathay Pacific Airways Cargo organized a cricket carnival at NCC grounds for their cargo agents to strengthen business relationships amidst fun and fellowship.

The cricket carnival received an enthusiastic response with as many as 32 teams participating and Baltrans Logistics (Pvt) Ltd., emerged as champions with P.N. Fernando & Company (Pvt) Ltd., becoming runners up.

Roshan Fernando of Baltrans became the Best Batsman with Dilruk Rohitha of P. N. Fernando & Co named Best Fielder. The Best Bowler was Laxman Bernard of Baltrans and Dinusha Sandamali Mendis of P. N. Fernando & Co was named the best Female Player. It was winners all the way for Baltrans of course with Muththusami Sivaraj becoming Man of the Match in the finals and Roshan Fernando, the Man of the Tournament.
