While LTTE terrorism is being destroyed:
Unfair and unreasonable for India to intervene - Anunayake Thero

KANDY - It is thoroughly unfair and unreasonable for South India to intervene in a high-handed manner at this decisive stage of action mounted by the Sri Lankan Government against LTTE terrorism that destroyed the island country in many aspects, observed, the Anunayake Thero of Malwatte Chapter, Ven. Niyangoda Vijithasiri Thero yesterday (20).

LTTE terrorism was a curse on the people of all communities – Sinhala, Tamil and the Muslim during a period of nearly thirty years, causing retardness of progress in the country, the Anunayake Thero told the media, urging that the government, led by President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the security forces engaged in crushing LTTE terrorism with sacrifices, should be praised and supported in every possible manner.

"It is amazing and unbelievable that India which has experienced the cruelty of LTTE terrorism as it killed their own ruling leader, has come forward to intervene in an independent State as Sri Lanka, now at the tail end of destroying the LTTE in order to restore democratic administration throughout the country," the Thero added.
